Teens’ Spring Break Connections Workshop (now enrolling families)
Looking for a fun and supportive space where your teen can gain confidence and connect with new friends this spring break? Our Teens Spring Break Connections Workshop is specially designed for adolescents aged 13–16 and is based on the highly regarded UCLA PEERS® model. Throughout the week, campers will explore essential friendship-building tools, practice conversation skills in a safe environment, learn effective strategies for managing conflict, and learn how to plan a get together with friends.
But what makes this program extra special is the crucial role parents play—because we know social success is a team effort! Parents attend separate sessions where they learn the same skills and are coached on how to support their teen’s social growth. Through fun lessons and real-life examples, parents get the tools they need to help expand their teen’s social network and offer insightful feedback each day during “socialization homework.” By partnering together, parents and teens alike build the confidence and know-how for creating and keeping meaningful friendships beyond the workshop.
Led by experienced, caring professionals (Dr. Lourdes Valdes and Dr. Cindy King), this immersive program combines interactive lessons, group activities, and real-world practice to empower teens with the social know-how they need to thrive—both in and out of the classroom. Let us help your teen build a foundation for lifelong connections and confidence this spring!
